The Thalassa Foundation, standing firmly by the coastal fishermen of Alonissos, responding to their needs, has made a financial offer for the purchase of devices against fish predation by dolphins. The devices were purchased and distributed by the Board of the Alonissos Fishing Association to the fishermen.
The President of the fishing club Mrs. Ouranitsa says: “I would like to thank Mr. Apodiacos of the Thalassa Foundation for the financial donation he made to the Alonissos Fishing Club for the purchase of equipment for the capture of fish from dolphins. Today the devices were distributed to the fishermen by the Board of Directors. As President, I would like to thank you personally for the trust you have shown in me with your generous donation.”
